Zoro Platform operates a multi-role ecosystem connecting Customers, Store Owners (Business Partners), and Delivery Partners (Riders). This policy details the specific data we collect for each role to ensure a safe, efficient, and transparent delivery experience. This policy applies to our Zoro App and Zoro Rider applications.
1. Detailed Information Collection
A. For Customer Accounts ("Zoro App")
Identity & Contact Info
Name, Phone Number and Email Address.
Reason: Account security, order updates, and rider communication.
Delivery Locations
Saved addresses, address labels, and Precise GPS Coordinates.
Reason: Accurate order delivery and identifying nearby stores.
Shopping History
Order details, basket contents, and favorite products/stores.
Reason: Personalized experience and order record keeping.
B. For Business Accounts ("Zoro App")
Business Profile
Store name, description, category and marketing image (Banner).
Reason: Displaying your business to platform users.
Verification Documents
Business license photos, storefront images and identity verification docs.
Reason: Ensuring marketplace legitimacy and safety.
Financial Details
Bank Account Number, IFSC Code, Account Holder Name and UPI ID.
Reason: Processing automated earnings payouts to your bank.
Operational Data
Business hours, contact links (WhatsApp/Instagram) and product inventory.
Reason: Managing order flow and customer inquiries.
C. For Delivery Partners ("Zoro Rider")
Rider Identity
Full name, Phone number, Email, and Profile Picture.
Reason: Professional verification and customer recognition.
Vehicle Information
Vehicle type (e.g., Bike, Truck) and Registration Number.
Reason: Matching load capacity with orders and legal compliance.
Financial Payout Info
UPI ID for earnings settlement.
Reason: Facilitating swift daily/weekly earnings distribution.
Foreground Location Tracking Only
To respect your privacy and comply with Google Play Developer policies, the Zoro apps collect precise location data only when the application is actively running in the foreground (open and visible on your screen). We do NOT collect, store, or access location data when the app is closed or running in the background.
D. Automatically Collected Data (All Users)
Device Identifiers
FCM Notification Tokens, device model, and OS version.
Reason: Delivering critical order alerts and technical optimization.
Interaction Logs
App usage patterns, search queries, and crash reports.
Reason: Platform troubleshooting and service improvement.
2. Data Safety & Security
Data Protection
All data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption via Supabase. We use SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit between our apps and servers.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only with parties necessary for the delivery process (e.g., sharing a customer's address with the assigned rider) or with trusted service providers like Google Firebase for notifications.
3. Teenagers & Children's Privacy (Ages 13+)
Zoro Platform is designed for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are under 13, please do not register for the Services or send any personal information about yourself to us. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will permanently delete that information as quickly as possible from our Supabase databases.
4. Account Deletion & Data Rights (Google Play Compliant)
You have full control over your personal data. In compliance with Google Play Developer policies, you have the right to request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time.

To request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated personal data, please contact our support team:
- Email Request: Send an email to our support team at zorodeliveryapp@gmail.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request". Please include your registered phone number or email address.
- Support Channel: Submit an account deletion request directly through the support and contact features on our website.
Upon receiving your request, we will permanently purge all your identity data, transaction histories, saved locations, and profile details from our Supabase databases within 30 days, except where retention is legally required for compliance or tax auditing.
